The tradition of Beaujolais Nouveau began in the 19th century, when winemakers would celebrate the end of the harvest with a little party, toasting with their new wine. This joyful practice quickly caught on, and soon it became a nationwide event in France. Today, it’s celebrated around the world, marking the arrival of the new vintage with festivities and fun.
